About the Item
A particularly noteworthy French two door cabinet with fine carving, Circa 1900. With a serpentine form having double carved doors with relief decoration of foliate scrolls in the upper corners. With a wide shaped and carved foliate decorated skirt rail with a center palmette. Raised on short front cabriole legs and square back legs. Double recessed panel sides and decorative brass hardware with palmette motifs. The doors open to reveal two shaped shelves roughly covered in a Mid Century Animal pattern contact paper with bentwood shelf holders. With a fine conforming pink, gray and white striated marble top with carved edge.

Condition: Please see detail photos. Lacking a key. While some level of restoration may be desired, the Cabinet presents in a fine authentic manner. There are various signs of age including chips to the marble on the left top edge and along the back edge, stable age cracks on both sides and both doors, rough door edges , chip to the left door upper leafy scroll, a few chips to the skirt rail decoration, all mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is quintessentially French Country.
