MotherMine Sideboard by AnaFatia for October Gallery

$27,100per item

"MotherMine" is a piece of Mother Mine & All of Us collection designed by AnaFatia for October Gallery. A contemporary collectible design piece inspired by human anatomy - a reflection of Ana's own identity. "Bypassing all thought, in constant mutation I assumed the primal sense of my original transcendental inspiration, both as to matter, and thought itself, - vestiges all, or clues, present or future; integral parts all, assuredly eloquent, and precise, of what they might say, could they only have tongue of their own to speak for themselves - thus allowing us to live, recall and retain, the secret depths we all of us possess as living beings with us. Objects that induce, perhaps even create, sentiments: anguish, sadness, smiles, with a way of bringing to life things from our deepest imaginings and most intimate feelings - and even perhaps, to create them out of nothing… Emotion, Passion, Lightness is her guidelines to express the reflection in the shape of a simple fragment, the most wounded piece of female architecture. Place where all human beings are engendered and formed". An iconic piece, total craftsmanship production. The item is made to order, with a certificate of authenticity included and signed by the artist. Limited edition: 5 + 1 prototype Materials: Wood Dimensions: D 40 x W 130 x H 100 cm MotherMine was shown at the following design events: Salone Satellite/Milano Design Week, 2012 Now! Le Off, Cité de la Mode et du Design, Paris Design Week, 2012 Design Shanghai, 2014.
