19th Century Original Hand Painted Pine Two Door Armoire, Hungary
About the Item
This painted pine armoire still maintains the quality and details of the original hand-painted finish in a soft, inviting earth tone pallet.
The four floral panels are framed against a stylized background that was a traditional style of the era.
The interior is divided with shelves on the left and vertical storage with hanging rod to accommodate hangers on the left.
The left door is held in place with an interior lower latch. The right door secures with a functioning lock (1 key included). While this lock is old, it is not the original lock.
This painted two-door armoire has been restored and waxed so it is strong, stable and ready to use.
Age related wear include dings, cracks, scratches, age related separations to wood, distress etc. do not detract from the beauty nor function of this wonderful folk-art find. Distress/wear to painted finish typical of age, etc.
