This is an antique gentleman's triple wardrobe. An English, mahogany and satinwood inlaid cabinet, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880. Utterly striking craftsmanship upon a generously sized piece Displaying a desirable aged patina and remarkably immaculate interiors Select mahogany further enhanced with flame mahogany panels offering superb grain interest Satinwood inlaid decoration and borders an exquisite appointment Arranged as a central panelled cupboard over an open compartment, suite of drawers below To each side, quality, bevelled mirror plates within tall cupboard doors - desirable light foxing present Two short over three long graduated drawers - solid mahogany drawer boxes with slim dovetail joints Interiors of distinction, presenting a level of cleanliness almost beyond superlatives for an antique piece Dashing tiered crown moulding with flame mahogany panel and ebonised Greek key decoration Dressed with ornate, cast gilt metal handles and inset working locks — key present Field panels host satinwood inlays over flame, with oval motif and plume of feather embellishments Panelled rear in natural finish with hand-written 'Harrison' identity Stood upon a shaped plinth with ogee bracket feet to the front and sides with solid apron to rear This is an impressive and generously sized antique gentleman's triple wardrobe, offering a suite of cabinets and drawers to house all of a gent's finery in period, whilst offering a pair of dressing mirrors and accoutrements dresser to the centre.
