Biedermeier One-Door Wardrobe, Berlin 1815-20 This elegant Biedermeier one-door wardrobe is a fine example of timeless craftsmanship, featuring a mahogany veneer accented with intricate details. The upper section showcases an ebonized inlay band with a delicate leaf motif, beautifully framed by a stepped gable. The wardrobe’s Biedermeier design is distinctive, with a protruding central door flanked by recessed sides. These recessed sections are adorned with inlaid geometric band decor, adding depth and sophistication to the piece. The lower portion features a striking beech root veneer band, further enhancing its visual appeal. Standing gracefully on four ebonized cone-shaped feet, this wardrobe exudes balance and elegance. Its exceptional design suggests origins from the area of Berlin, dating back to 1815-20.
