About the Item

Swedish original painted pine armoire with blue panels and trim, standing on aged bun feet. The original painted finish has been distressed through generations of use, resulting in the deep patina of this delightful cabinet standing just over 6' tall. Around the panels, the pine is painted with a faux wood, somewhat brown/brick red finish, worn down to the pine below in many areas (particularly around door where it was touched, opening and closing). Restored, strong and stable. Wax finish. All nicks, dings, cracks (see left side, front feet), scuffs/scratches(right side), aged-separation and signs of wear are commensurate with age and do not detract from the charm nor function of this Swedish cabinet with five interior shelves. The top notched shelf was originally used to display silver spoons. Back feet replaced at some point in time.  Old lock still functions with included key. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
