Large Italian wardrobe, walnut burl, glass, brass, mahogany, maple, Italy, 1950s
This exclusive Italian wardrobe has a remarkable size; with its width of over 10ft, this cabinet offers plenty of storage space. Four doors hold a mirrored surface lined with a decorative wooden frame, the two outer doors have a luxurious wooden surface. Three double doors structure the access to the storage space which is a combination of drawers and cloths racks. Special feature is the light accentuating the inside. All doors can be locked and the keys used as handles. A wooden tapered base lifts the wardrobe up. Overall the cabinet shows great detailing not only regarding the outer appearance but also the inside and is a truly and elegant Italian design. Especially the use of beautiful walnut burl elevates this remarkable piece of furniture.
Kindly note that this item is in good, used condition, showing signs of age and use. This includes visible marks in the interior, including some scratches and general wear. Restoration is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier.
