Fine Traditional French Provincial Dark Stained Armoire
About the Item
Very fine traditional antique French armoire with a useful and hard to come by 12” depth. A carved bonnet over a frieze with carved cross motif. With the Classic shaped and carved burled door panels with patinated metal escutcheons (lacking a key). Five newer custom shelves inside. The burled serpentine skirt with carved center circle and ending in cabriole front legs, shaped back legs. Nice antique patina to the wood.

Please see detail photos. Various acceptable signs of age include The expected and acceptable minor age/use nicks, dings and slight wood losses as well as a few stabile cracks to the panels with the armoire presenting very well. Lacks a key.
