French Pine Armoire
About the Item
This armoire has exposed double pegged construction. The hinges are original and escutcheons are later. Each door has shaped raised panels framed with carved molding. The feet are later replacements. The sides have two recessed panels. The front stiles have carved shapings that extend from the cornice to the feet. The inside has one fixed shelf in the center with support structures for two additional shelves if desired.
