Josef Hoffmann (Designer)
Opened in 1907 in Vienna, the Fledermaus Cabaret had interiors designed by Austrian architect Josef Hoffmann. This design was so well received that it went into limited production by Kohn, and later by Thonet. Our set from the 1930s was refinished some time ago, and displays well. The seats are upholstered in midnight blue leather, with a burgundy trim. The inlaid glass tabletop was reverse painted to match. It is the perfect scale for a morning coffee or a small lunch.
