About the Item
Slat coffee table / bench by Hugh Acton (1925-2018) constructed of walnut with polished cast chrome legs and chromed hardware. An very architectural design with a high level of complexity as well has being handmade in small qualities by Hugh Acton's company during the 1950s. Acton attended Cranbrook and created and produced for his own company as well as doing freelance work for others along the way.
