About
Very rare and special coffee table designed by German Heinz Lilienthal who was also famous for designing wall decorations made of metal, wood and concrete. The beautiful patterned etched tabletop is a stainless steel sheet on a wooden edges base.
The German glass painter, furniture designer and decorator studied at the Staatliche Kunsthochschule in Bremen. His manifold skills are mirrored in the unusual combination of material and shape. His work with stained glass for example is both representational and abstract, showing his sensitivity of harmonious translation of form language.
