About the Item

An incredible statement piece which serves as functional fine art, this work was created by Raoul W in France, where he blended art and object into a large cocktail table made from hefty steel and intricate wood letterpress print blocks, signed on the front as can be seen in the photos. Considered fine art that can be used as a table, this stunning coffee table was created circa 2008, after he experimented on sculptures using car parts and found metal objects. Everything made in small numbers, his work is sought after by fine art collectors and interior designers alike. This steel and wood cocktail table by Raoul W would work great in a Post-Modern, Mid-Century Modern, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Zen / Minimalism room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Hollywood Regency, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office. MEASUREMENTS: H 16" x W 47" x D 47" CONDITION: Very good to excellent condition with light wear and attractive patina. Very attractive and presentable, ready for immediate use.
