About the Item
Massive cast aluminum coffee table and glass top. Sold aluminum, the base weighs about 200lbs. Sculpted aesthetic with organic shapes, somewhat mimicking rocks, roots, etc. Glass is original and in good condition, just a few light surface scratches for light use. Came from an estate in Southern California, definitely in the style of Jan de Swart, who was making work there at the same time. Has a really amazing presence and scale in a room, ready for use.
