About the Item

This sleek and linear Mid-Century Modernist Round Glass Top Brass and Steel Cocktail Table is in the manner of Maison Jansen and originates from Italy, Circa 1960. Features a banded composition in Brass and Steel, boldly combining the hues of each material with stylized motifs topping the supports and elegant use of curved lines and slender form. The glass top fits beautifully in place alongside a raised lip of brass circumscribing the edge of the table. The stylized classical motifs topping the supports are adorned with fluted detailing and contrast stunningly with the sleek geometry of the table. In the manner of Maison Jansen, this table exemplifies the innovative designs of the firm which emerged as the first truly Global during the turn of the 20th Century. This stunning piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
