Minimalist Brazilian Coffee Table 'Frame' by Samuel Lamas
About the Item
This award-winning minimalist steel and glass showcase table is designed within architectural and geometric reasoning. With square DNA, four stair-shaped supports are connected by an intermediate-height bead to establish a balancing and support system.
The glass tops overlapped in two planes have the same thickness as the metal profiles and dialogue both with the structure and between them by generating a subtle chromatic effect. all its elements are essential to the system and are sized to ensure stability with minimal material.
This sustainable orientation promotes a light and simple aesthetic. Frame coffee table is a honest piece that seems to float with discreet and striking presence.
This light coffee table is a winner of PRIZE DESIGNS FOR MODERN FURNITURE + LIGHTINING 2022 from the Chicago Athenaeum : museum for architecture and Design.

Samuel Lamas
LAMAS is an architectural, design and enginneering practice with office in Brasilia. The studio is led by the founder, the civil engineer Ruy Lamas and his son, the architect Samuel Lamas, who is the creative director of the firm.
The firm develops products with architectural and geometric reasoning. The aim is to create simple and light pieces to serve contemporary human life. About the designer: Samuel Lamas : Born in Brasilia in 1980 is a Brazilian architect graduated at the Università degli Studi di Roma 3, Rome, Italy.
