Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte Glass and brass table made in Italy around 1940-1950.
It is a vintage item, therefore it might show slight traces of use, but it can be considered as in excellent original condition and ready to become a piece in a home.
A rare crystal coffee table with four very thick shaped crystal legs with small curved glass feet, a central brass mounting system with decorative brass accents reminiscent of gio ponti styles, and a crystal top rectangular often with shaded decorations to be noted in photos.
This table is an excellent example of the work of the highest quality and elegance produced by Fontana Arte during its early years under the direction of Giò Ponti and Pietro Chiesa. P. Chiesa for Fontana Arte, Italy circa 1935.
