Vintage modern Large Coffee Table made in reclaimed teak in natural color
About the Item
Here offered is a beautiful, sleek, modern-designed coffee table made from reclaimed teak wood. The coffee table was crafted from old teak wood sourced from old tables from Indonesia. The design of the coffee table is very sleek with a thickened top, four straight legs placed at the extreme corners, and connected from below by a stretcher. The wood is 2 inches thick everywhere, and the stretcher stands 1 inche above the ground. The coffee table was crafted by our master carpenter around 1990 and was then stained brown and finished with satin lacquer. The table has recently been acquired by us again, and in the process, we have sanded away the old layers of lacquer and stain to reveal the bare wood. The teak wood now has a natural light brown color. The table is clean, sturdy, and ready for use.
