About the Item

A narrow 19th-century half table from Shanxi province crafted of northern elm (yumu) with a floating panel top of walnut (hetao). Ideal today as a console in an entry or hallway, the slender table has a minimal design with rounded legs, an openwork apron with reeded detail and traces of the original black lacquer finish.
