English Demi-Lune Console w/Beautiful Ornate Design & Large 6.75 Ft. Width!
About the Item
A large-sized English carved-wood demi-lune console table with beautifully decorative top. This vintage table from England features a half-moon top with carved apron decorated in a rhythmic display of repeating circles with flower head centers surround within bead and barrel trimming. Flower heads within squared frames set the tone within the apron above each of the six rounded and flute-carved legs, with acanthus leaf wraps about the knees and ankles, which taper gently towards their stacked-bun style feet. The wood base has a custom grey finish with gold accents, which compliments the wood top which is embellished with a beautifully painted scrolling foliate motif, and top edge is banded with several colors of wood. This ornate English demi-lune table is a nicely-sized piece with a width of approximately 6.75 feet.
