About the Item
A French carved-wood console table with great entwined circular motif on apron. This vintage table from France, approximately 6 feet in length, has a rectangular-shaped top which slightly overhangs the apron below which has beautifully carved skirting along all four sides in an entwined circle motif and lined across the bottom in a more petite scale ribbon carved trim. Each of the four squared legs has a decoratively carved squared plaque above them within the apron corners, a profiled knee with vertical ribbed surround, tapering into blunt arrow feet (also adorn in the vertical ribbed carvings about their tops). The wood has a custom bleached finish, with beige/cream colored accents and a slight wash over the top. This French table, with fabulous trim details about all sides, makes it a great option to be used not only as a console or sofa table, but as a piece to visually break up the space, floated within a long room.
