Handcrafted English Oak Console Table With Drawers & Mirror
About the Item
Modernist English oak 2 drawer console or vanity table with matching 'furrow' mirror - designed and completely handcrafted in England using traditional cabinetry techniques. Skilfully constructed from the finest prime English oak. Hand dovetailed joints to the main oak box and all inner drawer parts. This console table is fixed to the wall via screw holes hidden away behind the drawers - the mirror is fixed by keyhole hanger fixings to the back. A rock solid and striking piece of modernist furniture that is built to last. Leather finger pulls. Finished in highly durable natural oils.
Legs easily dismantle/assemble for extra safe transportation.

Our regular use of English Quartersawn Oak is one case in point. It has been the beloved timber of fine furniture makers across the world for centuries. It is costly to produce but gives huge benefits and rewards such as its striking medullary rays and superb stability qualities.
By utilising these wonderful and naturally occurring features with our contemporary designs we aim to continue creating some very distinct, tactile and idiosyncratic pieces.
These are all completely handmade, in very small numbers, by our skilled craftspeople in England.
