Steve Starr White Lacquered Shell Console Table
About the Item
The white lacquered fiberglass shell base was cast in the early 1980s, modeled on a pair in the foyer of Starr's parents' 1940s lakefront Chicago apartment. He replaced the traditional wood top with a thick glass piece of the same approximate dimensions.
