About the Item
Bold yet balanced, the “Materia” table is a striking sculptural piece that merges minimalist geometry with artisanal warmth. Designed by Italian architect Daniele Maggioli for Amoretti LAB in Milan, this handcrafted table embodies the philosophy of refined simplicity and timeless craftsmanship.
Meticulously shaped in solid copper, the table features a rounded rectangular top resting on two monolithic pedestal legs — each element precisely hand-formed and finished by master artisans in Mexico. The soft, natural patina of the copper evolves with time, giving each piece a unique character and living finish.
Perfect as a statement dining table or an artistic conference piece, “Materia” is where Italian design sensibility meets the soulful imperfection of hand-worked metal.

The art of craftsmanship. Originally from Torino, Italy, Amoretti Brothers have been in the business of manufacturing the finest handcrafted copper kitchenware and kitchen fixtures since 2006. With passion and love, we design and make hammered copper vessels, decorative brass range hoods, hammered copper tubs, sinks, and more. We use only natural materials and all our products are carefully handmade.
Our beautiful workshop is located deep within the heart of Mexico, while we keep an office in New York. Amoretti Brothers have always had a clear vision: that design and craftsmanship are intimately related. The utmost harmony between these two principles results in products with solid personality, style, and innovation. This is the philosophy that drives our top-notch copper craftsmanship. Each Amoretti Brothers piece combines the best of two worlds, using Italian design philosophy and Mexican craftsmanship. Our products balance both functionality and art. Hand-hammered to perfection by our expert coppersmiths, the 12.5” Fry Pan is a chic cooking staple. Its gleaming copper exterior is complemented by a double layer of tin interior lining. Applied by hand by our artisans, each layer gives the inside of the pan an even protective coat that guarantees a lasting cookware piece. Riveted onto the sides of the copper pan are its handles.
