This Italian-designed dining table is made from travertine, and features a robust, architecturally inspired structure defined by a rectilinear, angular design with distinct apertures. The focal point is the separation between the base and tabletop, with the black metal rods serving as intermediary supports and creating a thoughtful use of negative space. This structural element highlights the sculptural quality of the table, making the top appear as though it is hovering above the base. The substantial tabletop features angular extensions on each side, defined by a trapezoidal shape that departs from the conventional rectangle. The inverted U-shaped base is composed of a rectangular block form with an open central cutout, reducing the heavy look of the travertine stone. The travertine has a lovely texture, characterized by fine veining and subtle striations dominated by a cream color, lending the table a rich, organic feel that contrasts beautifully with the crisp geometry of its design.
