20th Century Wood with Onyx and Marble Top with Chessboard Italian Game Table
About the Item
Italian game table from the mid-20th century. Furniture supported by a wooden structure with a round base equipped with eight columns and a small central shelf in chestnut and walnut wood. Top of great quality and charm made up of numerous onyx elements held together by resin and central marble chessboard (see photo). Top that has undergone a restoration (see white line photo) now solid and in good condition. Difficult to find game table, ideal for placing in a living room or studio, for antique dealers and interior decorators. Top fixed to the base by a special central metal pin visible in the centre of the chessboard (see photo). Side table produced by an Italian craftsman by recovering wooden elements and a top to create a model of furniture that brings together different styles. Furniture that shows some signs of the time, structurally sound and in good state of conservation.
