About the Item

This early twentieth century French Art Deco period sculpture stand or pedestal features a rosewood and palisander marquetry facade with sides that curve inward detailed with a geometric fan pattern. Its 13.5 inch square top is inlaid with a sunburst pattern. The pedestal rests on a multi tiered plinth base. A handsome piece that is sure to make a statement in either modern or contemporary interiors. c. 1930.
