About the Item

A unique and most decorative side table with an 18th century Imari bowl fitted in its original Italian 19th century Louis XV st. patinated and giltwood base. The table is raised by elegant cabriole legs with richly carved floral giltwood accents and rich giltwood scrolls. The decorative triangular bottom tier displays a scrolled border with a striking lattice pattern at the center. The scalloped shaped frieze displays rich floral giltwood carvings. The stunning fitted Imari top is of striking hand painted scenes and floral patterns covered with a fitted glass top. All original gilt and patina.
