About the Item

Fantastic looking, completely restored French side table from the renowned Napoleon III period in France around 1870. A unique, octagonal shaped mahogany side table with many delicate and superbly processed details. This antique French side table offers two compartmens with amazingly veneered mahogany building this one of a kind star design. Refined and elaborately adorned brass applications around the edges combined with extraordinary shaped, solid slender feet makes this Napoleon III side table a real eye-catcher. The profiled brass fillet around the tabletop finalizes the incredible look and adds this item a real noble appearance. The traditional hand-polished shellac finish reinforces the grain and rounds out the rich feel of this gorgeous French side table from the late 19th century.
