English Oak 19th Century Bobbin Legs Side Table with Geometric Font Drawer

About the Item

An English carved geometric front oak side table from the 19th century, with single drawer, bobbin legs, H-form cross stretcher and brass hardware. Created in England during the 19th century, this oak side table features a rectangular planked top with slightly raised design and rounded edges, sitting above a single geometric front drawer. This drawer is fitted with teardrop brass pulls secured on ornate floral themed backplates. It is grooved on the sides for the runner. The ensemble is raised on four turned bobbin legs with elongated rectangular block joints resting on small turnip feet, connected to one another through an H-Form cross stretcher of similar style. The apron showcases discreet carved spandrels complementing the ensemble beautifully. Boasting a nice and dark patina, this English geometric front oak side table with single drawer from the 19th Century will make for a wonderful addition to any home, perhaps placed in a living room, bedroom or foyer.
