About the Item
Art Deco table circa 1930s crafted by a danish skilled carpenter.
The frame has angled turned legs made of dark stained oak.
The tiles are made and decorated by the danish artist Jens Thirslund (1892-1942) with delicate black, turquoise and light grey glaze.
Jens Thirslund was for years a talented and much appreciated technical and artistic leader at H. A. Kähler´s ceramic work-shop close to Næstved in Denmark.
The table is made in the 1930s and remains in very good condition.
