Side or Entry table Biedermeier Fruitwood blonde & black wood night stand LA CA . Very early 1800’s work of art 19th Century sewing table . The top opens up with an original lock and key , with a single pedestal sitting on a blackened wood base. It could be used as a side table , between two chairs, a corner table , to use as a pedestal and mount a piece of art on it , or as a table for a lamp . The simple lines and the light color and the darkened black wood at the base makes this piece very versatile , it can work in an Art Deco design , a modern setting or traditional .
