A bright coloured painting by Artist Hugo Newton. Born in Venezuela Newton studied in both Venezuela and Italy, graduating from the Insitituto Europeo de Diseno, Milan. His work has been widely exhibited in Spain & Venezuela receiving numerous prestigious awards both at home and in Europe. His work has been described as a synthesis of pure energy. As seen in the present painting he builds fields of colour where a birds beak or wing (metaphors for his primitive, rural origina) emerge from intense, urbane canvasses. A wonderful example of contemporary art from Latin America certain to bring a burst of colour to any space.
