19th Century French Black Forest Hand Carved Hunt Scene Wall Decor
About the Item
Decorate a ranch, hunting lodge or simply a man's office with this elegant antique wall decor. Crafted in France circa 1870, the hand carved artwork is set in a marquetry frame; it features a hunt scene with hunters in high relief shooting birds and being retrieved by dogs. The naive scene is further embellished with trees in the background and grass, tule and stalk decor in the foreground. The black forest style carving is in excellent condition and adorns a rich walnut patina.
