19th Century Black Forest Carved Walnut and Leather Wall Vitrine Cabinet
About the Item
This elegant and heavily carved antique vitrine was crafted in France, circa 1880. The hanging cabinet features hand carved leaf and branch motifs throughout the front. The cabinet door with arched decor is dressed with an inset leather upholstery and has the original key. The inside reveals a middle shelf and five small drawers underneath for ultimate storage. The narrow Black Forest cabinet is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich dark walnut patina. A perfect small display cabinet for a powder room, a bathroom or any other room for a collection of some sort. Hooks in the back for easy hanging. The key is there but lock not functioning.
