About the Item
Beautiful raised copper panel telling the story of Niamh and Oisin and the land of eternal youth, one of Ireland's most ancient tales. Its a wonderful tale of Oisin the noble son of Fianna leader and protector of Ireland and Niamh daughter of the King of Tir na nO'g land of the young. Together Niamh and Oisin ride across the sea on a beautiful white horse to the magical land of eternal youth, where no one ages or is ill, there is no hunger or war and the weather is always warm. But when you go to Tir na nO'g you can never return leaving your family and friends behind. The panel is in very good condition signed and dated by John Carroll Dublin in the lower left corner. Looks better in the video with the polished copper but it does have a few scratches, its a nice panel with a great story.
