Pair of Elegant 19th Century Hand Painted French Boiserie Wall Panels. Panels are painted on canvas and later mounted on a board. Framed in simple white wooden frames. Each panel features two playful white doves with nests in center, surrounded by floral arrangements. There are also doves in each top corner holding ribbons. These are classical symbols of love, fidelity, and peace. The flowers are finely detailed, including roses, peonies, and morning glories, all suspended or spilling from garlands. the hanging garlands and ribbon swag create a sense of symmetry and festivity. Color palette includes pinks, whites, blues, and greens on a teal background. Panels were often used between windows and doors as wall decor in 19th century aristocratic French interiors. In today's homes, these panels are ideal for entryways, dining rooms, or above a console table to add old-world charm and elegance.
