This beautiful religious triptych in solid wood opens to reveal an image of the Virgin Mary. When closed, the panels display two vases with flowers and foliage rising, evoking the Tree of Jesse. Features: Dimensions: 108.5 cm (42.7 inches) in height x 125.5 cm (49.4 inches) in width Weight: 10 kg (22 lbs) Condition: Very good condition Usage: Can be hung on the wall Origin: From the Cistercian abbey of Bonnefontaine in the Ardennes Period: Dating from the 19th century This triptych, also known as a devotional box, was found in the dining room of the abbey.
