Rockettes Decorative Panel by Mark Yurkiw

About the Item

Rockettes decorative panel by the American artist Mark Yurkiw. American Express commissioned Yurkiw to make this piece to celebrate the Rockettes. It was displayed prominently for over twenty years in the window of Radio City Music Hall, New York City. The art was sculpted in bas relief and then cast in urethane resin then colored with a brass dust emulsion. This panel was originally sculpted in clay creating a bas relief then positioned in a rectangular mold to cast the final version in the technique of bas relief.
