About the Item

These are a good set of SIX glazed ceramic vintage wall tiles, decorated in a pineapple vase pattern and dating to the mid-20th century, circa 1960. Each tile is nominally 6 inches ( 15.3cm) square. The tiles have a pineapple vase pattern with bold earth colours of yellow, brown, orange and green. . The tiles are in good condition and have the remains of some tiling cement on the back. Overall, an interesting, colourful and individual set of tiles for display or use.

These are a fine early set of six ironstone pottery dinner plates made by the Mason's factory at Lane Delph, Staffordshire, England and beautifully decorated in the small vase, flowers and rocks pattern, fully stamped and dating to the earliest period of Mason's Ironstone production, circa 1818.
