About the Item
Large original oil on canvas painting of Christ and the Samaritan woman at the well (based on Biblical passage from John 4). Just under 7' tall with frame.
Has craquelure, retouches and old repairs throughout; including along left side and crack to canvas at lower left corner and old repair running vertical along right 1/3 of canvas.
Canvas is dark and will benefit from cleaning which we leave to the discretion of buyer.
Frame shows typical age-related wear with some scuffs, scratches and stains, etc. Strong/stable and ready to be hung.
