18th Century Pair of Original Oil on Canvas Portraits of Young Woman & Man Italy

About the Item

Original oil on canvas, a pair of portraits of a young woman with pearl necklace and a young man in a golden embroidered red cape. Unsigned. Condition: The canvas is relined. Retouches and repairs (see backs). A mark along the edge of the stretcher. Craquelure throughout and a few minimal peelings. Both canvases will benefit from cleaning which we leave to discretion of buyer.
