From Chatten's website, "With no formal painting instruction, Geoffrey developed an impressionistic technique all of his own. He produces oil paintings of the UK, specifically beautiful landscapes and seascapes from the Norfolk and Suffolk countryside. Geoffrey became a full member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1995 and is a member of the Royal British Artists Society."
