Bent Sorensen is best known as a sculptor, but he started out as a painter.
Around 1948, he met the group of Danish and international artists connected to the Galerie Denise René in Paris. In the same year he studied at Ossip Zadkine's (1890-1967) School.

Bent Sørensen
Bent Sørensen was best known as a sculptor, but he started as a painter. He was born on August 1, 1923, in Maribo. Around 1948, he met the group of Danish and international artists connected to the Galerie Denise René in Paris. Sørensen sculptures often contain a sharpness and an interesting geometric composition. Sørensen died in 2008.
