Watercolour showing a cockatoo (possibly sulphurous) perched on a stone bench and picking a cherry with one of its legs. In its detail and composition, the work is reminiscent of the 19th century engravings that appeared in zoological volumes (compare with the work of Edward Lear, for example), although it is also worth mentioning the painting entitled "Collection of animals" by Melchior d'Hondecoeter (circa 1960) which is kept in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
