About the Item
"Desert Rock Painting" by Valerj Pobega, USA, 2013
Valerj's recent body of work is inspired by nature and in particular a trip to the Grand Canyon in 2011. She created a collection of Abstract paintings entitled "Desert Rock Paintings". She was inspired by the way the wind carved the rocks. She uses paper and fabric to mimic that movement, and acrylic paint mixed with some of the desert's original rocks.
Valerj Pobega was born in Alghero in 1976 (Italy) and has shown in prestigious American Art Galleries.
