Double Still Life Painting of Horse and Tabletop With Vase and Fruit
About the Item
Two still life paintings by Oklahoma artist Clair Seglem. This piece is a two for one. The artist used one piece of paper to paint two very different scenes. On the left, Seglem paints a beautiful still life scene of a red vase on a table with small red flowers on a moody blue background. Bright orange fruit sits in the foreground. On the right, a very Hollywood Regency style white horse is painted standing on it’s back legs. The background is a lovely blue/green hue.
This piece would be beautiful split into two and framed separately.

About the artist:
This piece is by the late Oklahoma artist and retired Air Force man Clair Seglem. Seglem painted into his 1990s before passing at his Oklahoma residence. He was known for his striking portraits and still life paintings.
