About the Item
Wonderful work of the Danish artist Finn Pedersen, born in 1944 in Bornholm. In 1966, he exhibited with artists from the CoBrA group such as Asger Jorn and Karel Appel. His work is clearly influenced by the informal painting style of these artists. In rapid brush strokes, Pedersen makes strong colors apply very thickly, so that a moving surface, similar to a relief. From the energetic gestures of the brush a whole structure of abstract faces is formed.
