About the Item

A large framed portrait painting of a boy in red and blue. The piece features a young boy or teen wearing a white collar shirt with a red overcoat. He has short blonde hair with hints of brown and auburn. He wears a blue newspaper boy cap. He has dark brown eyes and looks expressionless forward. The painting is framed in a gilt wood frame with cream linen sandwiched between two beveled pieces of the carved wood frame. The back has a wire attached for hanging. This piece is signed in the bottom right corner in blue with D. York, 3-12-94, and the back is marked with "Rabecka". This painting would be great hung among other portrait paintings on a gallery wall, or perhaps on its own. Dimensions: 17.25" Wide 21.25" Tall 1.5" Deep

Sourced from the estate of the late Oklahoma artist Clair Seglam. An airforce man for most of his life, Seglem only began painting after his retirement.
