Bright colorful oil on canvas painting by Juan Carlos Lasser. Selvatico II (wild, rough, jungle, primative). Lasser studied at the Mutualidad de Estudiantes y Egresados de Bellas Artes (MEEBA). Since 1973, the painter of abstract, colorfully expressive paintings has exhibited his works in solo and group exhibitions in his native Argentina as well as in Singapore, Korea, Cuba, Uruguay, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria and the USA. The exhibition venues included the "Galería Atica", the "Fundación Banco Patricios", the "Galería de Arte Tema" and the "Galería Van Eyck" in Buenos Aires, the "Art Gallery" in Washington DC and the "Sicardi-Sanders Gallery" in Houston, Texas. In the course of his life, he received various awards for his artistic work. He was awarded the Grand Prize of Honour of the LXXXI Salón Nacional de Artes Plásticas. A fantastic original oil on canvas by Naohiko Inukai. This is number forty in a series of colored scapes he created in the mid 1960's and is in excellent condition. This work is signed and dated on the reverse It's color changes subtly with the lighting, when properly lit it casts a beautiful warm orange tone throughout the room.
